When I boot up my computer, it shows nothing on my screen. Monitor is plugged in, both power cords are in the graphics card. I have no idea what the problem is. BIOS gives me 1 short beep.
I would raize the DDR Voltage to 1.9 , set the clock skew to 250ps for both channels, and set the latency for the RAM as it stated on the RAM Package ( 7-7-7-24 / 9-9-9-20 @@@).
If al connections are fine and the assembly was done right you should be fine.
put your gpu in second pcie slot
or use other gpu to set bios to default
i had same problem with sapphire 3870x2 on P5E
it is something with bios i don't really know what
but it would boot up after default settings seted with other card
If you don't have a spare GPU you can always remove the BIOS battery on your motherboard and leave it for a couple of hours. Then put it back. This might work.
