ok so here's the thing.. just bought this notebook: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-...ok.8783.0.html

like it alot but now i wanna upgrade the video card drivers but cant find any.

9500m gs is the video card.

tried to install official 174.74 yesterday and gave me an error saying cannot find any driver on this computer.. so went back to the acer site and downloaded the 174.51 again.

any help on some good drivers?

yeah thnx will try this out later.. tried the modded ini stuff few days back but couldnt really get it goin, caus i had to find some code (id and ... something else, cant remeber) but mine werent in the list so im f*cked?

anyway, will try it again tomorrow or so..

had a other small question though, complety new to the notebook scene so my other little issue:

I mainly use my notebook as a desktop (though i like to be portable).. is it smart to use the notebook without the battery when im on power?

And if i dont, does this have an impact on the battery life?
i would figure they have developed some kinda charge lock or sumthing.
