yes they do make mistakes... but they will be back on top soon... sooner than u think... for a simple reason... Intel India is the one responsible for all the good processors they have for now.....
AMD is also moving their R&D to India to use some Indian ma-sa-la....
So they will come-up with some real good techno ...........
Just like Rambus Bangalore(INDIA) did with XDR......
So lets see what happens... lol
U hate AMD.... dont u......... G o G

AMD used to have better techs than Intel but right now AThlon X2 and Phenom are 2 YEARS BEHIND INTEL!!!! Even Core2Duo not to say about 45nm ones... I also hope AMD would think of something but right now they are losing almost every battle... DO I hate AMD ?? LOL NO! Since now i had: Athlon 500MHZ, Athlon XP 1600+, 2400+ , 2600+, Athlon64 3000+, 3200+, 3800+, Athlon X2 6000+, Intel E8400(NOW) and Im simply DISSAPOINTED with AMD performance right now.
If anyone is about my age , He should remember how Rambus "helped" Intel... They recovered for 4 years to do something on they own that worked fine at last... Rambus made one of most useless memory standard that was use to be hit, but it turned to be sh**. so Wait and dont get to horny about them helping AMD ;-) I just wonder how will some people feel about that - after Rambus memory based systems turned to be 2% faster than DDR 333MHz and 2,5xmore expensive + next Intel series went ONLY to DDR platforms, and then many people turned their back and bought AMD CPU's it was best time for AMD and I wonder what will these people say now knowing that Rambus is comming to "help" AMD ;-) I bet they are very happy ;-)
And the bigges AMD mistake was leaving socket 939 and going for AM2.

XDDR2 is even faster than DDR8... if it is available..... And AMD is having a deal with Samsung and rambus to develop a GPU/CPU with Rambus BUSS and Samsung ram onboard.....
Don't ask me where i am getting all the news from..... lol

It WAS good in the day.
