Exactly the thing I like to hear.

Well another thing is that 3870 image quality is sweet and simply more colourful:P I started to change some settings in my 8800Gt drivers and now i have almost identical IQ like with that 3870...I wonder why Nvidia doesnt provide it as default because stock settings we get on Forceware simply look worse than my actual and ATI defaults... + I bought my nephew 3870 because he has My old AMD 6000+ + Gigabyte mobo with crossfire so if performance 3870 vs 8800GT isnt much different so maybe some day He'll get another 3870 ;-) But like I said 3870 is fine card maybe not as quick as GF but still it's good choice.

This is proof im not GF fanboy ;-)

It's mostly related to color saturation and whatnot.

Correct! But in my opinion GF drivers could be calibrated much better. The IQ would be much better without any performance lost.

Anyway...... lets wait for 4870... cos reports say... 3870 was a competition for 8600GT 512... so no point in comparing........

4850 should be a comp for 8800 and 4870 for 9800... and 4870x2 for 9900.......

hmm... lets see what happens.. coz cant believe the benchmarks... coz it says4870 is 25% faster than the NVIDIA top dog 9800GX2.... hmm...

if 4850 DDR3 version can beat 8800GT.. it will be good... cant compare 4850 GDDR5 with 8800GT..... its different class...

I wont be that fast I can say it now. Ait always scream a lot but when time comes they speak realy quiet ;-) And cards with GDDR5 wont be much faster You'll see... Memory is one thing they cant make work fine. Just remember when GDDR4 showed! Most of GPU's still use GDDR3... On the other side im pissed with both NV and ATI polithics... Ati is saying lot of nice things but not much becomes real, Nvidia is remaking old food instead of working on some new stuff (just look what they say about 9800GT = 8800GT with higher clocks!!?? So If i have pre-overclocked 8800GT does that mean I have 9800GT before It even came out?? ) Sick Sick Sick

It's true that ATi doesn't always come up with products that perform up to their saying, but when you look at how small they are compared to Nvidia, I think they are doing one hell of a job. (same thing for Intel and AMD)
