That sounds good. Especially it is the 512 mb model so I think it's a really good deal. I think that is what you should strive for, Copland.

I didn't look very thoroughly, so there may be
cheaper units of the 9600GT available.

As far as BioStar is concerned I still am running one of there old NVidia 7600GS 512mb 128bit Card in this PC. I know its old but with a little tweaking and the right drivers, its been really good to me with all of the MMORPGs here lately. (titles: Requiem:Bloodymare, Rappelz, Rohan, WoW, CoH/V, LOTRO, a ton more. This is with everything at full tilt grfx, cept LOTRO which is a mic between full tilt and above middle fo the road.)

Those cards mentioned are good but I would hold out a couple of months, There will be a huge 4th of July sale on newegg and thats a chance to save anywhere between 25-35% off everything in stock.

I pulled a few cards from newegg in or close to the $100 range, good luck in w/e you choose.

(click links below for details)

8800GS 384MB 192Bit GDDR3 SLI PCIex16
8600GT 256MB 128bit GDDR3 SLI PCIex16
$100 and Under Cards
$200 Cards and under
This card is under $185 and worth every penny, must see!
