Which DirectX Version the game is using

I have been hearing past few months that some games have both DirectX 9 as well as DirectX 10 support.

But I am not quite sure how to know which Version of DirectX my graphics card is using (assuming my graphics card supports DirectX10).

Can somebody help me...

your card doesn't have DX10 support
additional, for DX10 U must use Windows Vista

Sorry, I want to mention that it is not specific to my configuration, but in general how to identify if the game is using DX10 or DX9 acceleration for the game that one is playing.

the minimum system requirement are specified on the game box and U could also search the game's website
