Default Best Driver For Geforce 7800 GS?

I have tried the latest version from nvidia website, but not doing well for me. My fps ranges from 50-100.

I have tried the latest including 93.71 forceware that's about it but I get back the same results. I don't mind image quality, I'm all about performance. What is the best driver for this card? Thanks in advance.

The problem is that it's not steady constant which is the problem and my bullets are not hitting straight, they're flying from left to right and it's WAY off. It bounces around a lot from 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100.

Just recommend me a good driver that's all I'm asking.

OK, man, let it be like u want, i'll not comment ur words, i will just ask for your question....

The latest driver = the best driver
The latest optimised driver = the best driver+much more performance then nvidia's or ati's driver

You mean my cpu? Isn't 2.0GHz good enough to run the card?

I tried installing the latest optimal driver but during installation a window popped up saying it can't pass the windows logo testing or something like that and so I stopped it. Anyone ever got this problem before? Is it safe to continue?

Yes, it's fully safe to continue. Install this driver man.
