It might be overheating. Also make sure you have all the latest drivers for your card.

#6 | | Site Staff | Get alcohol and electronic cleaning spray and give it some good cleaning. Remove the attached cooler and clean the DDR chips and the core with alcohol and spray. When you’re 100% sure its 100% clean, clean the heatsink, apply thermal paste on the core and reinstall the cooler. Make sure to try it on another computer, and if the problem remains, then you need a new card. |

Got a mate with a 6800Ultra card he aint useing, just waiting for him not to be drunk and mail it now =\ Thanks for the great replys Ill try out the Alcohol and Eletronic cleaning spray thingie though. |

#9 | | Extreme Member | | GPU: Gainward Bliss 9600GT | | | RAM: 4G OCZ Reaper X DDR2 | | Is that the power connector on the card ? If so thats what killed mine there is a component surface mounted in front of that connector and it wasn't attached well on my board. Changing that card a few times that component actually broke right off.
Will get a pic for you when I get back home if it will help
