However, if the card does have this video capture ability, and for your peace of mind, you correct this problem by installing the correct WDM drivers for the version of the graphics drivers you're using. That is: If you're using Catalyst 7.yx drivers, you need the matching WDM drivers for Catalyst 7.yx. The WDM drivers can be downloaded separately from the ATI/AMD driver download site. If you're using Omegadrivers, you HAVE to download this separately as his set does not include WDM drivers. (His instructions make this very clear.)

Any other results/updates since your previous post?
Oh, ok... Just making sure. I plan on buying an 8800GT when I get the money... But don't you need PCI-E 2.0? I need a new motherboard too... dammit.

Depends on your mobo 2.0 is backwards compatible but in some cases I have seen mention of some older mobo / chipsets not supporting it. While others have no problem

It is my understanding that all video cards will be backward compatible with PCIe 1.1. But, it's always best to check out the card you're interested in before putting the money on it.

Woo, I got an error this time... It says:

"The ati2dvag display driver has stopped working normally."

So, can this mean that I have the wrong drivers?

No, not necessarily. That error is actually a quite common one and can even pop up due to bad system RAM. Essentially, all that error is saying is that communication with the video driver has stopped and the driver can't function any longer. In many cases, having the RAM timings set too high can generate this problem as well as the RAM itself being bad.

It also could be a bad/weak PSU and the video card isn't getting enough juice to function and, therefore, stops working.
