Make sure to install the latest Multi-GPU Vista hotfixes, and try to install XP just to test it.

I did read post #2, however failed to make any relevant connection, must be the GTS oc'ing?
I'm quite happy with my non-sli scoring to be honest, according to many lists it's ahead of some GTX and even Ultra's (which baffles me as to what's holding them back).
It's not like i've got fancy ram either.

As for 3DMark06 SLI, it is recommended to use Alternate Frame Rendering 2, not 1.
I've tried 1 and it cut my FPS in half.
Only later and much googling did i find the answer on another forum, to use #2.

I hope things are working now.
I went through hell the last two days trying to get Vista to even recognize both GPUs, and i'm more than happy to help out!

This has been a frustrating experience!

The scores of 3DMark06 have (approx) the same value as the nostril hairs of a mountain goat.
It's not even useful to measure SLI scaling since that differs between games and drivers. It's only useful to test the system under load (even then it's not perfect).

Ah now on that we can agree on!
However since the original thread poster initiated the subject of 3dmark06,
both our opinions of the software have no relevance here

Now back on SLI performance/working status topic,
i first tried this "Fur Rendering" program that is completely CPU independant.
This is to me, for now, the perfect way to compare video card performance without
having to argue about CPU.
I get the same score no matter what speed i run my e6600 at (all the way up to 3.8ghz).

This gave me a sigh of relief, telling me that yes in fact, SLI is finally working!
I get different results for other apps/games naturally, but at least i know things
are working.

you're welcome, glad i could contribute something!

I see i'm at the same level as a GTS (non-sli, and i heard the newer releases are much better), not sure what's holding me back but i won't jynx myself, i'm happy it's working and it's all better than my old x1950pro setup lol
