Hello all
I'm trying to shape my computer up for Hellgate: London so I ran the test on SRtest.com and it suggests that I should improve my video card and OS (Vista is recommended, I'm using XP) my spec is:


Dell Inc Dimension E521
2,20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
Board: Dell Inc 0UW457 A03
2048 Megabytes Installed Memory (2x 1024 with two spots open)
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE
Samsung SyncMaster (21,6"vis, s/n H9XP900453, september 2007)

So I started searching for a new GPU and found an NVIDIA 8600 GT(spec below) for approxmately 170 euros.

Gainward BLISS 8600GT PCX TV Dual DVI
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT / PCI Express x16
1024 MB DDR II SDRAM / 1 GHz
S-Video / Komposit Video / TV/FM
PCI Express x16

And I'm simply puzzled why this is so cheap, compared to other 8600 cards we're talking about a +100 euro difference at the very least. So can anyone explain to me the big difference, and perhaps suggest another card if this one isn't worth the money.

well Sjant that sounds and looks like a great card for that game, u have enough memory, but i think that game requires a faster cpu
