|  ATI 8.42 Beta Drivers
Use at your own RISK. There is no official support of these drivers if you have problems.
However, a few are reporting that this version fixes the AGP problems of the recent official drivers. ATI drivers & bios

Gave em a go, they seem stable enough but no visible change in performence or anything. |

There is some sort of problem with the video overlay of these drivers, when i try to play a video (with any player) all i get is audo but no video | |

As a rule, I don't install the beta drivers. However, I did install this set and, so far, no issues to report. Videos play fine as well.

it had something to do with the avivo settings, when i looked through that catalyst cp the avivo was on 'custom' i switched it to home and its all working now | |

I usually don't install betas but i actually tried them they work okay, no real issues
