Default How do you calibrate the colors on a ati card?

Hey guys,

So i got the x1950 and its alive and kicking but theres one thing, i cant seem to find any way to run a monitor color calibration, so everything looks off and faded, it looked the same when i first instaleld this monitor with the 6600 gt but the nvidia drivers have a handy calibration feature that takes you through a bunch of steps so everything looks right, i cant seem to find the same thing in these drivers anywhere, maybe im just missing.

Anyone know where it is?

Well i couldnt find a calibration in the catalyst, which was a bit dissapointing as you will never get the colors right by playing with the little color sliders in the colors section, its impossible.

If you want to get your monitor to display true colors and look the way its supposed to then grab this handly little bit of freeware i found, it works great.

Download Monitor Calibration Wizard 1.0 - Monitor calibration wizard, unlimited profiles, persistent profile for 3D games - Softpedia

enjoy

hmm it seems the catalyst fights the profile set by the wizzard, if you run the catalyst control panel it will reload the default settings, thats really lame they should have included a calbration utility in the driver, very dissapointing
