you probably have not deleted or uninstalled the previous driver properly.
i use nasty file remover as well as the driver cleaner pro free version.
after running them a couple of times you have to go where you put your driver file at and delete the file.
and then go to start right click on my computer and select manage goto device manager and find your video card under display adapters and right click on your card and select delete and ok or yes and then yes for restart.
then you restart and run nfr and driver cleaner pro again and then you can install your driver.
that is a true uninstall of video card drivers.
i have never had any problems since i have been doing this everyone who just uninstalls them with add and remove and just driver cleaner pro have been known to have problems.
after installing a new driver so if you follow my step and get the free software i mentioned you will be free of any errors and blue screens.
