Default HDMI Supported by Catalyst 7.7 CP?

Hello

I wanted to ask If my front Projector will be recognized with the CP version over HDMI? Does the CP version support hdmi? (dvi->hdmi) I want to connect my projector over my dvi->hdmi cable and I know that it works with the CCC version but will it also work with the CP version? Will it be recognized like a normal Monitor or how will it work, IF it even works, because I can't tryout myself for a week now since my Projector has been sent in for repair.

thanks

Lightbulb Well, it didnt work for me with new card....

Hello Susu2k,

Just wanted to tell you that with my new Ati Radeon HD 2400 Pro card- I bought an DVI to HDMI Cable- hoping that i would get sound and video on my HDTV - but the only thing i got was a lousy resolution/quality picture with no sound... It seems with my new card- i need a particular DVI to HDMI adapter for my card then buy a HDMI Cable - but even then, the manual of the tv says pc over HDMI is not possible .....

Just wanted to tell you my experience

-Edward

P.S. Sorry Susu2k- I totally misread your problem/question! Sorry! My reply wont help you , i bet....
