Default Benchmarking my new 8800GTX rig

Greetings people! Welcome to my new thread!

Can anyone recommend any good benchmark tests that i can run on my new rig apart from thse standard 3D Mark 05/06? - they are the only ones i'm really familiar with...

Also I am having some trouble identifying the manufacturer of the 8800 GTX that was supplied with my pc. When i opened the case I saw that the plastic case of the card itself was green & black but the only single marking i could find at all was the "Nvidia" logo near the gpu fan. This is really confusing me, when i ran dx diag it said the manufacturer = Nvidia, in fact, every single tool i have used to try to identify the manufacturer says only that it is made by Nvidia! Can someone explain this? Surely the card also has to to be manufactured by Gainward/EVGA/XFX/Asus or somebody right?.... I would really appreciate it if someone helped me solve this riddle....

....Damn ...no luck still only says "Nvidia" as manufacturer:

Video Adapter: nVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX (p355)

PCI Express x16: nVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX (p355)

Graphics Processor Manufacturer
Company Name: NVIDIA Corporation

This is interesting though:

Bandwidth: [ TRIAL VERSION ]
Pixel Fillrate: 13824 MPixel/s
Texel Fillrate: [ TRIAL VERSION ]

W-T-F is this????

Well normaly it's will said the infos if you had not the trial version so shhhh Found an serial and here we go And for the manufacturer of the card it's can be nvidia well i know mine is an sapphire but in everest it's said Ati corp because sapphire just changed the cooler. So maybe it's can be the same with you but if the company had changed something on the chip it's will be said the name of your card like asus etc...

What frequency are the core and memory clocked at? Some manufacturers have unique default clocks on their cards. Use that to guess or narrow down the search. The cooling solution could (if it's aftermarket) can also help. You might want have a look at the GPU bios while you're at it.

Nvidia is also making cards, there is nothing wrong with it. Same with ATI as well, but ATI makes more cards because they don't have so many OEM partners like Nvidia's.

Ha see Rage ! No manufacturer name in Everest either!!! The only reason i really want to know is so that when i get another one to run SLi - according to nVidida it has to be exactly the same - I know what to buy...

(I've decided computers stress me out - Vista 64 is testing my limits) I should be really happy with my new baby , and i am , but i'm also very tired of trying to fix the problems.

I sold the Winfast DTV 1000 TV card that which i bought after Mac Daddy recommended to me because i couldn't get the f**king thing to work no matter what i did and it was slowly driving me insane...ahh the bitter taste of defeat....

Unix they are all standard manufacturer clocks e.g 575 + 1300

Just run Nibitor and load the BIOS on the fly, and give us the OEM ID #.
