| It works. For the most part. Device manager misses the upgrade and still shows it as an x800pro. The card runs much hotter and needs to be underclocked. An aftermarket video cooler is a good idea too. And, I've read elsewhere that some cards just won't accept the mod no matter what. The possibility of killing a perfectly good card is significant enough to require one to think long and hard about this. |
