oh yes, the settings take for sure. Ray has a built in hardware monitor that is pretty lush, much nicer than the one rivatuner so you can see it all happen...

you know there are a couple of good bios editors over on techpowerup now too fixed the fans on both cards just the way i want it so no need for software intervention but i do use traytool to overclock gpu and mem with great success and control all the dx and ogl goodies too...

I've always like ATI Tray Tool and used it a LOT with the past ATI cards I've had. Only when I got the HD2600XT did I start having some problems. But, now with the 3870, I'll likely get back into using it again. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't think the HD3xxx cards are highly OCable at all.
