Default Problem / Ram Program

Well I Found this place the best for posting my problem, My computer FREEZE for -1SEC- and

then returns normal, its anooying while playing games, I think the problem cuase( , is one of the ram which

I got from a friend a while ago and an OverClock has been made on it by him.


befor I pull out the ram from my computer , I wanna make a shortcut and check it with a prgoram,

what program should I use? Do you think its not the ram making the problem?

You can try using memtestx86 to test your ram, it's the best program out there!

Tests 1-4 are for the CPU (memory controller & cache), Test 5 is for the RAM, Test 6-7 are for mobo I think, and Tests 8-9 are for the RAM again (more intensive).

Great program, just let it run overnight, and get a few passes through..

memtest hasn't been updated from 11/nov/2004
use memtest86+ instead: http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

zme-ul, that's what I linked ..

The best you have for windows is Prime95 or SuperPI. Won't give you any info about what or why it failed though. It'll just tell you it failed.

SuperPI is agreat program to test your memory in windows but I would suggest running Memtest86x for a full memory test. Does your system freeze when running your memory at stock settings?
