WMP12 Fullscreen menu bar problem

I have a problem with Wndows Media Player 12 whenever I go fullscreen to view a video file. The bottom menu bar showing the controls such as play, reverse, etc. is always there; it never disappears. In WMP11 it will disappear after a few seconds of not moving the mouse or touching the keyboard. Does anybody know how to make that bar disappear in fullscreen? It's quite annoying as it's blocking my screen.
