Well,when I run for the 1st time firefox or IE and go to www.google.com,it automatically redirects me to www.google.co.il (hebrew version of google)
And so on for couple more websites.
How do I disable it?

You didn't get my point.
There are some websites,like google,that automatically puts you to your local language.
For example,google,msn,etc.

They use your IP address to detemine where you are from and redirect you to a site for your region.

I assume for google the "ncr" bit on the address http://www.google.com/ncr was to prevent it redirecting to your locale.

So I think he got your point perfectly. You just don't appreciate or think about the help you are getting.

Each site you visit that does this redirect, will perhaps have its own override like ncr on the google one. Or you can use a proxy server to appear as if you are approaching from an american IP address etc.
