Go to Start > Run > type (without quotes) "cmd /k ipconfig /all"

Your MAC address is listed under Physical Address (XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX).

MAC address is assigned based on your hardware, and is different for every system in the world. The act of spoofing (imitating another system) your MAC address would allow you to masquerade as another system (to evade bans).

The admin of that server, since he could not see your MAC address, probably assumed you were using a tool to hide it. He's probably thinking only a cheater would have a reason to do that.

MAC is a unique address number for network adapters. Firewalls block MAC queries and this is a normal procedure! Even Microsoft's firewall is blocking MAC queries. So in truth, that MAC spoofing thing was just a lame excuse, he banned you for another reason.

AA uses PB and it generates GUID (combo number based on your hardware), gamers uses GUID - not MAC. To remind you, Microsoft has enabled their firewall by default since XP SP2! it is impossible to check players via MAC addresses.
