Default Mandriva 2008 and Realtek 8139

I installed Mandriva 2008 on some system and for some reason the Realtek 8139 NIC is not working. I tried switching between 8139too and 8139cp drivers without luck. Does anyone have a clue about this issue?

Realtek 8139 has been supported for ages so I'm guessing this is a Mandriva problem or a simple configuration issue.

It's working with Windows, Suse and Fedora Core. It's even working with Mandriva Live CD. I will try to reinstall the entire thing, and disable ACPI and APIC.

Is the module loaded? Is your (dhcp client) working?
(lsmod) (dhcpcd, udhcpcd, pipe etc...)

Note: There are more than one model of your card. 8139C, 8139D.
