Default Thoughts on Firefox 3.0 Beta1

Is it my imagination or is the interface responding much faster than FF2.0? Feels a bit opera-ish (in a good way). The downloader has been improved with an added search function. The addons manager has also been slightly improved to my taste. Also noteworthy is greatly improved security and there's a new applications tab in the options.

so far the changes seem subtle but functional I only use IE if some site forces me too.

I use Firefox mainly for the great functionality that it provides (especially adblock+noscript+flashgot which coincidently are the only ones working with 3beta1). There are some websites that are non-standard and only work on IE6 (sometimes not even IE7) which is extremely annoying. IE has no respect for standards compliance.

The feedback looks positive I as a rule don't run beta versions of browsers I don't have time to mess with them need them to work. If I wanted a browser that might not work properly I would just use IE
