Default GoodBye Firefox

I'm going to dump Firefox in favor of IE 7. Shocking I know but Firefox has been so damn slow the last month or 2 I just can't stand it anymore. I constantly have to reload for a page to appear. IE 7 works just fine so I can't say it is my cable company. There is nothing wrong with my puter and I do not multi task so that is not the problem. My guess is that possibly Firefox is growing to fast for its server capability. I am open to suggestions and criticism. Thanks for any input.

it is just like ie7 but better imo, but if you want to go to ie7, go ahead as it is just another option for users

what is this server you speak of that would make firefox slow, also maybe try uninstalling it and cleaning your cache files, that could help not only firefox, but your computer as well

Never had any problems with Firefox it has always been fast, stable and powerful. It is the most advanced web browser in the worlds. In terms of functionality opera, IE and safari can't even dream about coming close.

Like kYdizzle said I would suggest cleaning your cache and if its that slow possibly checking to make sure a virus isn't affecting it. There is no server its not a network so the only speed issue involved is the speed of your ISP and how efficiently the code for your browser is written. In any case I think you will find FF faster as a browser and a software program than IE7 .......
