The answer to this is getting 2 GB of memory. If you have framerate issues this will not help. If your video card has enough juice and you suffer from stutters and the like the 2 GB of RAM is the way to go. If you are sick of hiccups and stutters in your games 2 GB od RAM will eliminate them, even in Battlefield 2.

Ringwraith is right no matter what you tweak or O/C there is no subsitute for good fast memory

I've got 1gig of memory and thinking to go 2gig

When I went from 1GB to 2GB I noticed a difference with resources and but so in games.

havo no problem with this performance
i have kingmax 2x512 DDR2-533
for now its runing like hell on 1280x1024 AAx4 AFx8 without any problem

The RAM memory shouldnt make much differents in preformance in games.. maybey 1 fps or so caus windows XP can only use 1gb at the time for 1 application.. it could take away the used memory from all the programs that are running in the background and stuff like that but it shouldnt make much difference.
