They decide what is actually visible on-screen and allows the GPU to skip rendering anything that isn't visible.

I think with your config you should be able to play without any loss of quality, the site is mostly for people who have low spec machines.
This is the forum that deals with configuration optimization

The purpose of this post is to provide people with some tweaks that actually work. Everyone already know where to go for tweak guides and such.

These tweaks are for people that have the required hardware to run the game. Not to help people who couldn't run it magically transform their system into a powerhouse.

For us less fortunate people , being able to run the game is a bonus in it self and that site help. As for people who have hardware to run the game, dont know why they require tweaks to improve performance, might aswell search for tweaks to improve appearance. anyway,

1) bUse Joystick=0 , disables the use of joystic, it helped reduce some mouse lag.
2) bInstantLevelUp=0, allows instant levelup without sleeping
3) iActorShadowIntMax=10, iActorShadowExtMax=10 max number of interior exterior shadows, more means less FPS, manipulating this will help u in increasing some other eyecandy.
4) bAllowPartialPrecision=1, set this if u have nVidia card.
5) iPreloadSizeLimit= (Value) x 1024 x 1024, for 1GB ram, value = 50, for 2GB ram value = 100

Tweaks to improve loading :
bBackgroundLoadLipFiles=1
bLoadBackgroundFaceGen=1
bBackgroundCellLoads=1
bLoadHelmetsInBackground=1
iBackgroundLoadLoading=1
bBackgroundPathing=1

6) http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=2415 to reduce the grass tiling pattern

7) iMinGrassSize=120
fGrassEndDistance=8000.0000
fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000.0000
bGrassPointLighting=0
bDrawShaderGrass=1
iTreeClonesAllowed=1
iCanopyShadowScale=512 , reduce in multiples of 8
bEnableTrees=1
bForceFullLOD=0

This seems to be help full :

[OPENMP]
iThreads=20
iOpenMPLevel=20
iPreloadSizeLimit=1000000000

This page has a tweak guide for high end pc's and also a list of must use mods. http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/article.asp?CIID=36222

For folks with ATi cards install ATi Tray Tools and in DX settings change the FlipQueueSize to 0, 2 or 3
For nvidia this page has a lot of bug fixes and tweaks http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=66785

Tweaking is a process of trial and error, what works for some may not work for others so folks will just have to test out the tweaks to see which work best on their system also check this out
http://ideveloper.pandora-studios.co...tingsGuide.txt
hope it helps.
