#5 | | Newbie | backup your saves in the My Documents/My Games/Oblivion folder, and also backup the LevelUpData_1.txt from the main install directory to backup save games. Both are needed. Without the LevelUpData_1.txt the save files are unable to determine what leveling to apply accross the game against your characters level.

you don't have to re-install game to revert settings back to default. Find the Oblivion game folder in your My Documents and delete everything but the Save folder. |

p.s.it cant save game(crushing while saving) | I've been playing Oblivion since the day it came out. The only problem I've had is the tendency to create a Windows Error upon Exiting the game.
The game is quite sensitive to overclocking. So, revert things back to default and see if the problem still exists. |

Seems that whenever it would change background music something wasn't working properly. And since you need that as a cue to know if something is attacking you, I don't just want to turn the music off.
So I tried an update for that program and it seemed to help some. Haven't been crashing as much on this system at least. |
