from the firs looks ... it has a slight "smell" of HL2 ...
the soldiers trow stuff at you, and they are a bit nervus than the combine from HL2
dying is easy, I miss Gordon's hazmat suit

Yeah, but they did a good job of using different textures and art assets so it isn't like playing a clone. Gameplay also "feels" different. The fact that you can tell they used the Source engine isn't a bad thing, I have always been able to look at a game and know what engine it uses. They all have their own distinct way of rendering things.

The water is a dead giveaway.

I love Source engine and Havoc
I've noticed something strange ... there is no HDR ... why??

Good News:
"For example, while the first episode will not contain HDR lighting, Ritual is going to move it over to SiN for the second episode, and then update the first episode with HDR as well. We've already seen evidence of Valve working on features like motion blur, depth-of-field, color correction and such, and it seems very likely these features will find their way into SiN somewhere down the road as well."

Plays nice one at 1600x1200 8AF/4AA+SS on my SLI rig. it's reminds me of HL2.. too close to it
