Few years ago, when
FARCRY was launched, I talk secretly to my buttons: wow, it seems amazing

! A year and a half later from that time, I acquired the game

. For months ahead the game package stood over my desk, until I finally earned some extra money and bought a real nice and compatible VGA in order to run it

. And... at that time, I screamed to my buttons: WOW!

OMFG! Etc. Good times, indeed. Now, CRYTEC, developer of
FARCRY, promises
CRYSIS (Cry Engine 2 under DirectX 10 API), with these goods:
"dynamic day/night cycle, fully interactive enviroments, sunrays and diffuse transmission, real time soft shadows, soft particles, interactive/destructrible enviroments, volumetric clouds, and advanced shader technology"

I really believe in CRYTEC, but... What do you all think about that? To develop a game for an API (DX10) which doesn´t exist yet? It´s possible? The idea of a dynamic day/night cycle, for instance, astonished me.
