BF2 Map Lag in Airports 6600GT

Hi!

Recently I started to experience a strange lag in BF2 airports. It's clear it's a graphical thing (I've got a 6600GT), my connection is fine (4Mb) and my PC too (P4 HT 3,4 + 1GB) It only happen in airports, FPS drops to less than 1 FPS and I'm unable to move. Sometimes, when I succeded in changing my orientation, the game start running smoothly again. But if I turnmy self in the other direction the lag stats again.

I can't remember what changed since I got the problem. I switched to NGO drivers, I got a 6600GT (no problem with the 5500FX) and applied all published BF2 patchs.

Any idea?

Is it GeForce 6600GT AGP or PCiE ?

It's an AGP one.

Sorry I answer so late, I didn't notice the answer. I've got the problem with all the drivers versions I've tryied. And I've tryed a lot, believe me

i have same problem with BF2
when you play online shut down antivirus and firewall, go to card CP and shut down AA, AF, and set it up to performance

its not problem in a NGO drivers or any other drivers
problem is in games new patch

It didn't work, I still got the same problem. It looks like it's not an Aitport problem, it happens when I'm near the end of the map and looking to the outside. Very strange. In these situations I got about 1 or 0.5 fps

i have sad it that is a problem with new patch
they dident fix it
