I'm sure all of us loved HalfLife II, and it looks like Valve has been working their butts off to honour us all with more! We all know that the 2 expansions are soon coming as well (well, Lost Coast is just a little something to show off HDR, but hey ), hopefully that will be enough to tide us off for a little while !

#7 | | Advanced Member | What do you mean by "THESE BIG RED LETTERS "ERROR" IN THE GAME"??? I've never faced such problems? The game indeed requires a pretty high-level video card. But I could played pretty well with 1GB of RAM and with my XFX 6600GT AGP video card, altough not all the graphic setting were set on high (to be honest, most of them were on Medium ). |

The letters actually appears while I'm playing in the game - "ERROR" and they are red. Previously I could play on for ages, I guess I need to re-install the game. 1GB Ram with ATI Radeon 7500 128mb + P4 more then enough to run the game. | |

Altough the Video Card is a little bit weak, but I guess you should still get pretty good performance, unless you're setting everything to HIGH.
Anyway, reinstall the game (and/or maybe drivers?!?!?) and let us know if it worked out for you.
GOOD LUCK. |

So you must play games quite SHORT time if this is the best game you played.
It is good game , graphics , and the thing i liked it most the feelig that i have when i play it.
But for 100% it is not best game i played. i culd eazly pick like 20 titles that cant be named best game for its years . And i have ben close to computers like from 1990 , and the first machine was ZX81 , you probable dont know even what it was , it dint have sound or graphics , only some cut down BASIC.
here is pics of that great machine http://www.honneamise.u-net.com/zx81/zx81main.gif
