#11 | | Advanced Member | I didn't say it is the BEST, but I said "one of the best".
Anyway I really enjoyed playing it and I also liked very much F.E.A.R.
for example, I liked F.E.A.R more than HL2. But again, like I said, these are among the games I liked playing and the list is long...very long.
Some other games include: Silent Hill 1,2,3,4 (especailly the last one, "The Room"), Max Payne 1 & 2, Obscure, Call of Duty 1 & 2. |

I pick up new games, but don't get to them until I make it through what I'm playing. I have yet to go through F.E.A.R. (played the first level so far), DoomIII (first level), QuakeIV (none), Vampire (Bloodlines)(none), and NFS:MW (#6 in the rankings).

#16 | | Dedicated Member | If a game gets boring I just quite like NFS: MW; I quit once I got around to #9 on the blacklist; that game was just eh same tihng over and over. I think the NFS series is dying or dead to me now. Played through about 3/4 of LOTR:Battle for Middel Earth and quite because the game was doo damn long.

All you Half Life fans will be happy to know that the upcoming Episode 1 will be a stand alone product. Half-Life 2: Episode 1 won't actually require Half-Life 2 to play, Valve's explained, and although the game will be "four to six hours" long, marketing director Doug Lombardi reckons it's "markedly richer" in terms of content quality.
Come to think of it, I guess if you are a Half Life fan, you already own HL2, so you really don’t care if this is stand alone or not. | Looks like HL2 - Episode I isn't too far away ! Though it's only 4-6 hours of gameplay, that is probably rushing through the game at full tilt, which (of course) none of us do !
If you stop and enjoy the eye candy, hopefully it will be enough to keep us at bay until HL2 - Episode II arrives.
Good thing is that for anyone who does not have HL2 (shame on you!), Episode I is standalone, and does not have any pre-requisites!
