I just had the chance to play this game on the Xbox 360 in a split screen CO-OP mode with a friend. And I must say it really kicked ass big time. Too bad the developer/publisher (EA) hasn't released it to the PC platform. Army of two is similar to Gears of War, but a lot more realistic, entertaining and with less sci-fi junk. A game like this should be available on the PC platform as well. Shame on you EA.

I have this for the ps3 and it a great game. I love how the two main characters fuss all the time lol.

This weekend I played some games with my buddy on his PS3 and for me it was a ghastly experience. I really can't understand how could anyone immerse themselves in a standard console title.

For reference, I'm talking about PES2010, Infamous and Uncharted 2. From the lot only the last one looked OK and played acceptably well. The first two are just horrible. My pal has seen PES2010 on my PC and he still thinks he has the better version, he was saying "yeah, the difference is not that big" with a sorry face, like he was pitying the fool.

I never used PS3, but soccer games like PES and FIFA are lame console ports.

FIFA is a disgrace on the PC. Anyhow, the Xbox version is really good.

PES is a bit better, but some moves like diving aren’t working on the PC. There are other technical issues on the PC, like V-Sync and controller delay issues. On the PC, you better stick with PES despite the issues because there are no good alternatives.

Don't get me wrong, PES is a piece of shit on any platform, I've been playing it from *97 and it's getting worse every year after PES4 which IMO was the best "sequel". On PS3 it's so poor my eyes hurt after an hour of playing. It's not only about jittery gameplay and 5FPS replays, it's about low detail level and limited resolution as well the so called blur-o-vision. On PC it's so much better it makes me wonder what the fuck happened, did someone turn two pages at once? I'm stumped.

And the console crowd still boasts about how great the consoles are. I mean, OK, there are more games on consoles, I will not argue about their quality, I have seen most of A grade PS3 titles at my fiends and not one of them has made me even consider for a split second to get a PS3. Titles like GTAIV? Don't make me laugh. Even with all the PC issues, I am (was) playing it on 1680x1050, 4x larger textures, higher detail and draw distance, no blur, higher detail shadows and whatnot and still getting double FPS my friend is getting on his PS3. All this with more traffic, more peds, more peds and cars diversity, shit flying around, without FPS drops to single digits when something explodes - for me there is just no comparison.

The only complete and functional titles I have seen so far on PS3 are both Uncharted games and MGS4. Graphically they are decent and play rather smoothly, even more so then I would immagine it would be possible for PS3 to handle.

But I'm really digressing.

I guess FIFA is OK on PS3, but there are things in that game I just can't grasp. Plus the ultra crappy PC version (why do they even bother) which really impedes any further looking into.
