do you actually think I care? as I said, I play on PS3 for it's exclusives
also, from that list, how many are PS3 exclusives, how many are console exclusives (most likely ported on PS3 not developed for PS3) and how many a multi-plat games?

PS3 is not as powerful as a PC neither the XBox360 and will never be

That list is pretty much incomprehensive. For instance, GTAIV is also upscaled from 1024x600 and that's an A title, no? Many share your reasoning and I find it funny. But, like previously stated, I don't judge.

And, for the record, I game for fun and excitement, not because some game is an exclusive.

as I said, you post multi-plat games that do not count since the engine is not developed for the PS3 exclusively
and I don't get you point, you say I shouldn't play on my PS3 because?

You definitively didn't get my points

1) I'm not contesting your right to chose your gaming platform, you do as you wish of course, I was only curious about your reasoning, that's all.
2) Most PS3 and xbox games are upscaled to 1080p and 720p respectively. And it shows. For instance Infamous, that game was made for PS3 but it still is upscaled. It looks horrible for my account.

don't get me wrong, I bought a PS3 an plan to play PS3 exclusive and console exclusive games on it
but that doesn't mean I will play every BS game out there; for Instance I absolutely don't like Uncharted and Uncharted 2, although U2 is as many say GoTY
also I do not care at what resolution I will play it since I play it for content not for graphics

Do you guys even realize what kind of hardware you need to render modern games on 1080p? That's high, consoles just can't cut it.

How do they not know if it's not the Game designers or the game's engine and not the console? I wouldn't be surprised if some Pc games are not up scaled with the Designers we have today. Anyway the only game I care about in that list is Halo 3 and even thou it runs at 660p it still looks pretty good.

The ps3 have a custom 7800 Gtx and the 360 I think was base off the 1950 xtx or 1900. The xbox 360 gpu Has Unified shading architecture and I think it would do up to 240 GFLOPS.

I would. Non of the games I play or have played were upscaled. Apart from some emualtors, that is.

you completely miss my point; as I said, I don't buy games for their graphics but for what they deliver as a complete product
Uncharted is not appealing to me
