I always felt people are looking for games that look better and with a better gameplay...

And every gamer will have a expectation of how a games should be..

Mirror edge is the game that looks soo real.. even crysis looks like a game

and i feel they have wasted a good game.. (GTA IV) full of bugs and bad graphics.. if GTA IV had Mirror Edge like graphics, that would have been the game to play..

but rockstar never rocks when it comes to graphics..

it would be nice to know everyones comments on what and how a game should be to make it feel and look real...

Old games can be played again and again, but new games cant be.. most of the people just play it once.. which clearly shows the spirit level in latest games.....

All PC games that have come out lately look very nice but the game play suks . i had turd box360 once never again ! CONSOL PORTS R TO BLAME 4 BAD PC GAMES(Now say im wrong) lol

I don't care about graphics, it just makes the whole experience a bit nicer to look at. Some older games had pretty messy graphics though and you couldn't make any sense at all where to go next. Take inFamous for example, it doesn't have full AA or the f*cking bloom effect and still is a kickass game. Why do people nowadays want just good graphics?Imo a good gameplay and story makes a good game. Photorealistic games would be an interesting consept nonetheless.

videogames should all be about gameplay over graphics,

i mean, look at 1.6 to css,

they improved the graphics, but essentially ruined the game

why ad a barrel that eats up processing power from your cpu, if it has no purpose???

i mean, if you have a damn AWP and you can't do any damage to some one just because their behind a small tin object, its lame

when graphics come first, the game is ruined.

well, maybe not graphics alone, but you gotta admit, steam killed it :P

I do agree what you guys say... if i give you GTA IV with realistic environment.. like in Mirror Edge.. wont you play it again and again... ? so graphics do matter.. but game play is important... GTA iV could have been much better with better graphics and with no bug.. hmmm they screwed it big time hmmm....

and when you talk about Graphics, GRAND TURISMO 5 in PS3 is Soo good... when you see the game.. you will feel bad that you don't have it for PC...

Latest games Suck @ sunlight.. they give some dumb colour which i hate... even prototype.. the co louring suck... yack

Mirrors Edge is great example , becos it bring new game play , and as You mention the graphics is great .
I loved the game , and played it 3 times now . And it was one of the games wher i stop at some spots just to look at things.

And again i love games that can do without any on screen hud or information .
