Default Crysis - Another Round for Me

I've been playing through Crysis again. It's quite an experience on this 22 inch LCD, too.

I think the mission to take out the three AA guns at the harbor, disable the jamming device onboard the ship and then target the ship for the bombers is one of my favorite missions. I could do that one over and over and over again and never do it the same way twice. But, watching those bombs hit the ship and the ship sink in the harbor is one exhilarating experience!

I remember that mission, was quite hard on high difficulty level.

I promised myself I wont play crysis again until I get 50-70 frames there.. so it will be quite a while.

Yeah, it was a pretty good game. Awesome graphics indeed, but after playing a game like STALKER and The Witcher, definitely LAME storyline.

Yes, I'm presently playing it through on Windows 7 RC1 64-bit using the WHQL drivers.

There are some areas where it does slow down ... which is not surprising with this game. However, I simply do NOT "run n gun" through this game but use the Cloak option and let the enemy come to me. This time around, I nearly cleared out the whole harbor before heading to the ship. I'm well past that part now.

Default I Bring the Enemy to Me ;)

I'm not sure just why anyone really needs 50-70 FPS to play this game. But, for me, I don't 'run-n-gun' like maybe a lot of others do. I work patiently and silently while making the enemy come to me.
