Well im running the 7100 biuld , game patched to 1.2 and only can run 64bit in vista compatibility , but then performance is lower (muth stuttering) that running the 32 binary without any compatybility modes.

I googled it and found fee people with same problem (black screen/exit when EA logo shuld show up win no error message) But no solution for this.

PS. After playng for hour or so when i exited the game , win7 told me that i was running all avalible resourses , and asked if i want to turn off the areo to improve performance

PS2. Im using the Natural Mod its great , make the game look diffrent , and since i played it normal way i go with this now.

The objective of this mod is to transform the ambient atmospheric lighting to make Crysis much more realistic. Check the link below for comprasion screens.

This sounds like a memory leak. And yeah, natural mod is a great addon.

I just noticed that you're overclocking your system pretty much. I've read that Windows 7 doesn't like OC'ing and I also found out for myself that it doesn't.

I had Update Notices a couple of days ago. The updates, one of them being newer drivers for my XBOX 360 controller, failed to install and even produced some of the first BSODs I've had under Windows 7. I reverted to default timings for my system and settings for my RAM and the Updates installed fine with no more BSODs.

So, just for a test, I'd reset your system/s to defaults and see if the problem continues.

It's making me wonder if Microsoft isn't putting something in the OS that discourages OCing. ???

I have no problems with that. My RAM is running on 1000MHz, CPU on 3.2GHz and about 10% overclock on the GPU. Never had a BSOD on windows7, works with everything my BIOS is willing to post with

I haven't touched the timings, though.

I've spent a little bit of time tonight testing and setting up my OC'ing again. We'll see how it goes.

FWIW, I've made it to the next to last Boss fight on the ship. Have to kill off the exosuit and then the mothership and I'll be done.... again.

EDIT

So far, after making some voltage adjustments, my OC'ing appears to be very stable. No Lockups and no restarts so far.

AND, this includes the final battles in Crysis with the Ecosuit and the Mother Ship, too. Completed the game and have been browsing around the 'net for a while now. We'll see how things go over the next few days.

Do you get a huge performance hit from using that? Or is it not much of a difference?
