Call of duty 4

First of all I have to say that it is a good game but only only lasts as long as the campaign mode lasts because the online just sucks. The campaign mode of this game is only about 5 hours long, what a waste of money, you can just rent it and you would be done with the campaign mode, so the game is a waste of money unless you really like online gameplay.

cod 4 is a huge game on line...on most formats....you must be in a minority to thinks so badly of it....I enjoyed the single player but I like to play my games on the hardest level to get value for money...Also enjoyed cod4 online very addictive with the weapons/perks upgrades but my favorite online is cod3.

I consider COD4 a great game but I dislike the regenerating health system, it encourages more camping and hiding and less rambo style craziness.

it's true there are lots of campers in COD4, but this is exactly the reason why you have special grenades - to take away the campers' advantage.

my favorite is MP5 with steady aim and improved damage. this thing makes you a real mobile killing machine.

edit: i still haven't finished all the headshots challenges so i'm not using this profile all too much...

It always makes me laugh all this nonsense about camping....you only have to stop moving for a few seconds to take aim and someone is crying "camper"....Camping is actually closer to what would happen in reality.....If people are trying to shoot you you don't run around in the open....you find cover and move around the map stealthily from cover to cover.....think the problem is the unreality of the game in that you can take several bullet hits without going down.....so hardcore is better with one hit kills....also you shouldn't be able to respawn or regenerate health...once your dead your out.....this would encourage more skillfull play where use of the map for cover and stealth and tactics have more importance than running around like a headless chicken calling the skillful players campers.

I have to disagree with you on this one. It encourages more rambo-style craziness as you auto-heal as you run and dodge bullets as well.

i totally agree with you that in real life you would be moving tactically with cover fire and massive support fire by the LMG "campers", but in real life you would also have a squad you know and rely on other than a bunch of 13 year old geeks. Oh, and you don't respawn as well...
and it's totally NOT fun to fight this way, i can assure you, and fun is the reason you play this game.
