Problems with Steam

Im not sure if you can tell what that is, but

when I run steam, It runs correctly but, it displays no text in its borders...

ive deleted the minidump files, and the clientregistry.blob, and the steamapps.blob

im stumped,

and im running Vista SP2 beta,

i think that maybe the problem but i dont know how to get sp1 back, (it says its already installed)

Id love some help, please and thank you

Backup the "Steamapps" Folder, uninstall steam, make sure the folder is clean and reinstall Steam. If its not working, try to run it in XP compatibility mode.

Your problem is a missing font, I dont remember what font is, but with a little googling around you should be able to find it. (I had the same problem with wine and steam a few months ago, I solved it by replancing / adding some fonts to wine windows folder).

well, I dont think thats right,

My pc would not all of a sudden loose a font, would it?

I read some ones response of downloading that font stuff and getting there text back,

but i just reformatted, i was too pissed to find out the real problem
