I think conditions and location probably play some role in it, im sure some people stuff em in with the entertainment system or dvd player so they get poor ventilation or odnt dust them regularly.

Also im sure some people play them for longer lengths of time then others, but i do hear alot of people having problems with the 360's, like i said my g/f's borther has had to send his in twice now and he think's he's gonna have to send it in again cuz its acting up

From what I've read on the internet, I seem to have the "Falcon" version with the "Team FDOU" marked on the UPC sticker. Is this good, bad, or just get lucky and hope the thing lasts?

well not every 360 has probs, its 1 out of every 4 that doesn't (falcon version)

the falcon version is what 1st came with all the problems. the jasper is what supposedly doesn't have the rrod or any of the other problems. the jasper was build differently inside for better air flow.
