This game has some major texture issues. So much of the game doesn't render on-screen which makes the game pretty pointless. As far as speed goes, it was pretty damn slow on this rig, as expected, and not worth buying if you do not have something decent enough to play the game on. This game needs some major help before it will play right even on a good PC. It's a shame.

There is no reason this game should need the high system requirements it needs. I "should" be able to play this game just fine on this rig, but with all the bugs and sloppy porting they did, it makes the game need more power than it should.

it's a darn bad made port from consoles
aside from that they put a shitload of DRM and uses Games for Windows to store saves and setting

The last mission has control bug - this is unforgiven. Damn, I'm so sick of it... I'm going to uninstall it.

As I said back at the time worked great here on my Intel/Vista x32/4850 512, nor did I experience any issue with control on last quest. From me a big thumbs up to the PC edition. But be careful of any graphics tweaks/overrides as these may cause problems I think. (edit: will clarify, I by tweaks I mean forced AA/AF, etc. in your graphic cards settings, not in game settings and/or the mods/tweaks nCaine is referring to)

I Also added Depth of Field/Motion blur/Smooth shadows tweak .
This one dont give any FPS boost , but changes the orginal one to more realistick / and in my opinion (and others too) muth better looking.

i have a question , why i suffer from this "loading pauses" while the game only uses 2/3 of my memory ??

I dont have problems with FPS as shown below. Just the pauses .

It will stream new map information from your hard disk. So make sure your HD is a) got a good performance with low CPU overhead, b) defragmented

You should have atleast 3 gigs of ram to run this game. Uses 1.6 gigs on my vista home premium 64-bit.
