I'm downloading my own "demo" of this game, it's free and I'm going to see how it goes. If I like it and it is able to play decently then I will buy it, if not then it gets deleted. If they are not going to produce an actual demo than I'm going to find a way to try the game out for free. I'm not telling you to steal anything here, but since you have the game in your hand, you should download the game somewhere and try it out before you open yours or bring it back, at least you'll know and won't be always thinking about if it would have ran okay or not.

I have another 3 days till it finishes, but I'll still post back when it's done. Or maybe I should not post back if it runs okay? You might get pissed that you returned it if it works alright.

Well you could just keep the gift, try it, and if it doesn't play well enough, keep it for the computer upgrade and play it then.

Invest in a shrink wrap blow dryer and some plastic baggies... any game can be a new unopened game.

GTA IV is really awesome game, but the technical issues such as graphics and performance are ruining the game. Except of these issues, there is another driving issue.. for some reasons I'm unable to take corners.. even the soft ones.
