hi guys,
anyone of you ever tested what gives better image quality:

eg:
1280x800 AA & AF ON - 2x
2650x1600 AA & AF OFF

PS: installed crysis wars today, and must say, graphics sucks at all on good quality (second highest) @1280x800 and fps are at ~35 if i remember right.

Better image quality? The higher res definitely beats low res + weak AA.

i will test this today using BF2 (yeah most of you will hate me )
and crysis wars
test will show settings and fps and sample images (i guess i cant get two identical images...)

maybe if it was at AA x4 or x8,

but not x2 :P

ok i tested crysis wars now with
DX10 @ 1920x1080, gave me about 37fps with AA disabled (settings maxed out)
DX9 @1920x1080 gives me about 55 fps with AA disabled
DX9 @1920x1080 gives me about 40 fps with AA at 4x (settings at dx9 max)

note: dx10 settings at same values at dx9 gives me 3 fps more...

image quality is definitive better at higher res, than enabling AA
but 2560x1600 isnt playable even without AA with all settings maxed out (not even in dx9)
i get ~25 fps then
