#1 | | Stuck in "April 1st" | | M/B: Asus Rampage Formula | | | RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB PI Black | | Stalker : Clear Sky I just finished Stalker: Clear Sky. I won't spoil anything but the ending is just sad.Aside from one or two glitches that did not affect the gameplay I only encountered a single bug once which was easily fixed by loading again.
I suggest GSC learn a thing or two from the oblivion lost team. Their mod for SoC is absolutely amazing. Here's to hoping that there will be a OLCS project.
I think there just might be a third stalker game that would either run parallel to one of the previous titles or be a prequel to clear sky.
At any rate I thoroughly enjoyed the game and I'll wait for the next patch + mods before giving it another run.

Besides that physics are a bit better than in Stalker:SoC so are the models. |

I get far less loading pauses and shorter loading times with CS. Ran fine with enhanced full dynamic lights, there's a fps drop when the sun rises and throws sun shafts everywhere but even that remained smooth. There is however a problem with campfires (even when they're not lit).

Omagic you should tweak the sun quality and sun rays settings, the fps drop you mentioned only happens during early morning (sunrise throwing sun shafts) and evening. In my opinion the drop isn't that hard to justify turning it off. The interesting thing is that the drop occurs even if you're not seeing any rays (a hill blocking the sun). Overall we're going to have to wait for a patch/mod to fine tune this effect.

As for this effect this is only cute bonus , the game would be pretty without it. It is new thing and maybe theyll get some extra speed after optimalization |

#8 | | Stuck in "April 1st" | | M/B: Asus Rampage Formula | | | RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB PI Black | | Just finished crysis warhead. Had it's moments but was generally short and boring and overall not as good as the original. Besides that it crashed to desktop twice for me and that puts me among the lucky ones. My only experience with stalker: clear sky was on patch 1.5.04 but that never crashed to desktop. It's funny how people (not on this forum btw) who don't have warhead automatically assume that it's bug free and that clear sky is rolling in bugs crashing.

Secondly it suposed to be more dynamic...it aint!! It suposed to have better dstory..not realy...etc It crashed for me once also... |
