Yerli has previously lamented the effect piracy has had on the title, but reiterated that it's still recouped the development costs, saying, 'If it wasn't profitable I wouldn't be able to stand here.'" It might be better if Crytek can start making merchandise, imagine a Crytek mug, t-shirt, Crysis action figure, or something. Have they thought about licensing their engine as well? I like the company so it is sad that piracy is mentioned to have an effect on their Crysis title. |

i was playing classic doom3 recently and i am impressed with the look of it. it is much better looking on the 3870 than it was on my old 1800xl.
if it has been a while since you looked at doom3 it might be worth it to check it out on a modern gfx card. ogl fuckin' rulez!... |

#9 | | Professional Member | | RAM: 4GB G.Skill DDR3 1333 | | Come on guys .........I agree the gameplay was highly monotonous but what I appreciate is the cinema quality graphics even till date i see no other game even crysis coming close to that visual quality , sure crysis has great visual effects and some good physics but doom3 graphics were closer to real life.
One more thing for those graphics at that time Doom 3 dint require a killer machine to run on , even at 640x480 resolution the game looked great ! |
