"Meet 23-year-old Alison Carroll, a professional display gymnast from the Croydon area of London, England, who has performed in front of Prince Charles himself. Miss Carroll beat out hundreds of applicants for the role of Lara Croft, the new position allowing her to quit her day job as a receptionist." http://kotaku.com/5035468/meet-the-new-lara-croft

But, I got completely frustrated at the area where Lara had to raise a gate at the far side of a cavern using a 'wheel' or 'gear' and then, before the gate closed, she had to do a series of runs, jumps, rolls and then a final 'slide' to get under the gate at the last second. I never made it. Anyone who's played that game likely knows exactly where that spot is.
The only other experience I had with Lara was the recent demo for the remake of the original.
I had a lot more fun with the early Indiana Jones games.
