#1 | | Advanced Member | Hi, I just got this wierd error..
I installed your ATI drivers for my 9200, and then used Ati Tray Tools to override the pizel and vertex shader versions to 2.1, then I get then when I start half life 2:
Unable to init shader system
SO... I thought hmm... this could be because of that new driver I installed... so I installed catalyst 5.5 again. Come to find I still get that same error, so I disables overrides. Still got the error.
Help would be appreciated. Sorry for the bother. |

Mikey , I also owe Radeon 9200se , which IS DX 8 level hardware , and I know for certain it inly supports shaders v 1.4 as a max , try placing override settings to 1.4 , good luck |
