I replayed FarCry again earlier this year. I had forgotten how LONG this game is! Excellent game for the money, for sure!

I also like to replay some games -- or least play at them -- every once in a while after upgrading my PC. It seems I owned an Radeon 64 DDR VIVO card when I first played FarCry when it was originally released. Had to absolutely cut back some of the eye candy on that older system. This time around, I played it all maxed out. Even put a few screenshots up on here from the recent session.

Enjoy!

FYI, if you can get a copy of the August PC Format, there's a "hands on" review of the game.

This particular game takes place in Africa and has some very exotic landscape scenery.

Maybe I can post a few scans of the screenshots from the mag when/if I get a chance.

Also, at the beginning of your game, there are 12 different characters you can choose from to be 'You'. After you select which character to be, the other 11 become AI team mates.

EDIT: I don't have to scan any...here are some uploaded screenies ....

If I was able to play Crysis comfortably on my system, then this is a piece of cake.

I have a feeling this is going to be much more fun that crysis (Which admittedly isn't saying much). That said it's not going to come anywhere close to the full "experience" project origin is going to provide.
