Hi all. I need help with Desperados: wanted dead or alive. When I launch game i have lag in menus and when I start the mission everything is ok untill viewing range is active. Then there a huge lag maybe 1 FPS... Any suggestions?

I have nevest drivers, DX, Sound drivers etc.. ( when I launched game on vista its lot better, little lags only when cursor is close to menu buttons or any character)

have u tried to use a patch on the game ?.. if not then try this one :

Yes, just installed but nothing changed... Found lot about older games lags I even tried to set only 1 CPU core to run the game but didnt help...I red somewhere that probably my GPU simply doesnt go to 3D mode so runs with low clocks but would this game make any problems to 8800GT event downclocked?? Anyway fraps shows constant 1(one!) FPS(when viewing sight on) !! While on vista v. sight doesnt drop FPS...strange...Why old game runs fine on vista and very poor on XP ? well i continue research :-(
